Junior Professional Officer – LIFT Programme (Green Lending)

About the role

The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is seeking a Junior Professional Officer to support the LIFT Programme’s Component 3 on green lending. Based in Abidjan, the role will assist the LIFT Programme Lead in coordinating consultancy contracts, monitoring deliverables, and facilitating stakeholder engagement across partner banks and financial institutions in Kenya and Rwanda.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day execution of Framework Agreement Sub‑Orders with 3–4 contracted consultancy firms.
• Track deliverables, milestones, and outputs against agreed timelines, quality standards and budgets.
• Maintain technical, contractual and operational documentation for Component 3 implementation.
• Liaise with focal points at participating banks and financial institutions to schedule assessments, workshops, pilots and training.
• Support GGGI procurement and finance teams on Sub‑Order issuance, restricted bidding, contract amendments, invoice review and budget tracking.
• Capture lessons learned and good practices for replication across participating financial institutions.
• Represent the LIFT programme in working‑level meetings with regulators, DFIs and partner organisations as delegated.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with interest in green finance and sustainable development.
• Strong organisational and coordination abilities to manage multiple consultancy contracts.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement across countries.
• Ability to work onsite in Abidjan and travel as needed for field missions.
