Junior Project Officer – Project Implementation Support

About the role

The Junior Project Officer will support the implementation of activities across the project life‑cycle, ensuring they align with ICMPD’s regulatory framework, administrative standards and operating procedures. Based in Côte d’Ivoire, the role focuses on regional initiatives linked to the ECOWAS Free Movement Protocol and the Demand Driven Facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of project plans and scheduled activities throughout the project cycle.
• Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure smooth project operations.
• Contribute substantive inputs to the design and formulation of project proposals.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory frameworks and standard administrative practices.
• Collaborate with senior managers and regional teams to support the Free Movement Protocol implementation.
• Report directly to the FMM II and SMIWA Senior Project Manager.
