Legal Specialist

About the role

As a Legal Specialist you will support usGreen SM’s expansion and operations in the Ivory Coast, ensuring legal compliance and providing practical guidance to business stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with management, operations, HR, finance and external legal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, employment and operational matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts, policies and other legal documents.
• Support business expansion and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Manage licensing, permits, registrations and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and recommend actions.
• Develop and maintain compliance frameworks and governance documents.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Deliver legal training and practical guidance to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law; legal qualification or bar admission is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in legal, compliance or corporate governance roles.
• Strong analytical thinking, risk assessment and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent English communication and legal drafting skills.
