Local Accountant

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a Local Accountant to manage its financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide insightful analysis to support management decisions. The role is based in Abidjan and focuses on the accounting, tax, and reporting needs of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the company’s accounting, financial, and tax affairs while ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain organized financial archives.
• Manage fixed assets, calculate depreciation, and update asset registers.
• Prepare financial analyses and management reports for senior leadership.
• Adhere to internal control procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Experience in heavy‑equipment, construction, or mining sectors is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities, deadline orientation, and capacity to handle multiple tasks under pressure.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
