Local Representative for Luxury Fragrance Brand

About the role

INTER OUTRE MER (IOM), a Monaco‑based distributor of prestige fragrances and skincare, seeks an independent local representative in Abidjan to drive its commercial and operational growth in Côte d’Ivoire.

Key responsibilities

• Visit points of sale regularly to monitor sales, stock levels and ensure brand visibility.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, prospect new business opportunities and coordinate brand activations.
• Train retail teams on product knowledge and merchandising standards.
• Provide activity reports and market insights to the Monaco head office.

Required profile

• Experience in prestige fragrances, cosmetics, skincare or luxury retail.
• Strong knowledge of the Ivorian retail market, especially Abidjan.
• Proven commercial, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Fluent in French with a good working knowledge of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
