Local Representative – Ivory Coast

About the role

Act as the liaison between IOM’s head office in Monaco and the local market in Ivory Coast. You will implement brand strategies, drive sales, and enhance brand visibility across perfumeries, pharmacies, retail stores, and travel retail locations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit points of sale to monitor sales, stock, merchandising, pricing and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Develop existing accounts, prospect new clients, support commercial negotiations and train retail teams on product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Coordinate brand activations, promotional campaigns and seasonal initiatives, and monitor market trends.
• Track performance metrics, prepare weekly activity reports and market analysis for the head office.

Required profile

• Experience in prestige fragrances, cosmetics, skincare or luxury retail.
• Strong knowledge of the Ivory Coast retail market, especially Abidjan, with existing relationships in perfumeries, pharmacies or travel retail.
• Proven commercial, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Fluent in French and good working knowledge of English, with a valid driving licence and personal vehicle.

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
