Market Operations Internship – Abidjan

About the role

This six‑month paid internship gives undergraduate and postgraduate students hands‑on experience in Citi’s Payment Operations business area, specifically within the Market Operations unit in Abidjan.

Key responsibilities

• Work as a member of the Market Operations business unit, supporting daily activities.
• Gain a solid understanding of Citi’s broad range of financial services and products.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports.
• Support global or domestic market activities, including FX and Rates.

Required profile

• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive mindset.
• Keen interest in financial markets and current affairs.
• Strong academic record at both secondary and university level.
• Studies in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, actuarial science, engineering or related fields are beneficial.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Côte d’Ivoire exchange regulations.
• Analytical and quantitative aptitude with a desire to learn.
