Market Research Analyst & Interviewer (Côte d’Ivoire)

About the role

Euromonitor International is seeking a self‑employed Market Research Analyst & Interviewer to support short‑term fieldwork projects in Côte d’Ivoire. You will work remotely, engaging in 6‑8 week ad‑hoc assignments that involve gathering primary data from industry decision‑makers and producing insightful business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth interviews with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, government officials and other key players.
• Research and network to establish contacts across the value chain.
• Collect and review secondary information sources.
• Visit retail locations to capture product details and staff insights.
• Analyse quantitative data in Excel and qualitative data from interviews.
• Test hypotheses and synthesize findings.
• Prepare clear reports and presentations in English using Word and PowerPoint.

Required profile

• Tenacious pursuit of information with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to secure industry contacts.
• High numeracy and ability to interpret data.
• Fluency in English and the local language.
• Experience working on short‑term contracts or as a freelancer.
• Strong time‑management, organization and self‑motivation.
