Marketing Manager – Côte d'Ivoire

About the role

GSM is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead its marketing strategy in Côte d'Ivoire. You will build a trusted brand, drive sustainable growth for riders and drivers, and position GSM as the leading mobility platform in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a local marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Build brand awareness and reputation through integrated online and offline campaigns.
• Localize global campaigns and manage PR, media relations, partnerships, sponsorships, and community engagement.
• Drive rider acquisition, activation, retention and driver recruitment through data‑driven initiatives.
• Manage CRM, lifecycle marketing, referral programs and promotional campaigns.
• Oversee digital advertising on Meta, Google, TikTok and other channels, optimizing budgets and performance metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROI and conversion.
• Build and lead a high‑performing local marketing team and collaborate with Operations, Product, Commercial and Global Growth teams.
• Manage relationships with agencies, media partners and external vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field; MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, growth or brand roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Experience in ride‑hailing, mobility, marketplaces, delivery or fintech is highly preferred.
• Proven success launching or scaling products in emerging markets.
• Fluent in English and French; additional local languages are an advantage.
