About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Welder to join a leading industrial client in Abidjan. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and availability of production equipment through mechanical maintenance, welding, fabrication and repair activities while adhering to quality, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Execute welding tasks using appropriate industrial welding processes.
• Fabricate, assemble and install metal components and structures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and HSE procedures.
• Document activities and report on maintenance work.

Required profile

• CAP, BEP or BT in industrial mechanics, boiler making, welding or industrial maintenance.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing, chemical or agro‑industrial settings.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently during production stoppages.

Required skills

• Proficiency in industrial welding processes.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance.
• Operation of machine tools such as drills, grinders, cutters and welding stations.
• Metal part fabrication and repair.
• Understanding of HSE regulations and safety procedures.
