About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide specialized support for utilities and baghouse (dust collection) systems at our cement plant. The role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, reliability and compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Execute and monitor maintenance activities for utilities equipment such as compressors, pumps, fans, blowers and chillers.
- Maintain and optimise dust collection systems, including bag filters, pulse‑jet units, ducting and induced‑draft fans.
- Diagnose faults, perform root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Track equipment performance, maintain detailed maintenance records and control spare‑parts inventory.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians and participate in projects to reduce energy, compressed‑air and water consumption.
- Ensure all activities comply with HSE policies, environmental regulations and company standards.
Required profile
- Engineering degree (BAC+5) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in industrial plant maintenance, preferably in cement or similar heavy‑industry environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
- Good understanding of HSE and environmental compliance requirements.
