Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The client, a specialist in engineering, construction, commissioning and maintenance of oil and gas facilities, seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead safe and efficient maintenance activities on its site in Abidjan.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all mechanical equipment maintenance is performed safely, complying with HSE rules, legislation and international standards.
• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance operations, including short‑term tasks.
• Manage contractor personnel, logistics and spare‑part movements to guarantee smooth execution.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports, validate technical data in the CMMS and record work history accurately.
• Support team development by identifying training needs, organizing rotations and closing competency gaps.
• Participate in site coordination meetings and suggest procedural improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising mechanical maintenance teams in an industrial or oil‑and‑gas environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ability to promote safety leadership.
• Excellent organizational skills to plan logistics and manage documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abidjan and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
