About the role
The Operations Department of MSF Operational Centre Brussels (OCB) is looking for a Medical Officer to join its Abidjan‑based cell. The role supports the Medical Coordinators in safeguarding the medical quality of projects across West‑Africa and Sahel contexts.
Key responsibilities
- Support Medical Coordinators to ensure high medical standards in all projects.
- Provide an overview of project preparation and implementation, helping to maintain quality and consistency.
- Assist in the management of a portfolio that includes countries such as Nigeria, Mali, Benin and Guinea.
- Contribute to the handover process to Ministries of Health or other partners as planned.
Required profile
- Medical background with experience in project environments.
- Ability to work within a multi‑country operational cell.
- Commitment to the humanitarian mission of MSF.
