Nest Lead – Distribution Center Operations (Côte d’Ivoire)

About the role

Zipline is seeking a Nest Lead to drive end‑to‑end execution and operational excellence at its Distribution Center (Nest) in Côte d’Ivoire. You will own performance, optimize unit economics and ensure scalable, high‑quality service delivery across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop cross‑functional teams across facilities, fulfillment, flight and call‑center operations, setting clear goals and providing real‑time feedback.
• Translate national strategy into an operational roadmap, forecast needs, build capacity and manage risk through contingency planning.
• Monitor KPIs, use data to identify trends, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement of processes, space utilization and waste reduction.
• Own nest‑level COGS and OPEX, make data‑backed spending decisions, identify cost‑saving opportunities and lead cost‑control initiatives.
• Partner with Customer Experience, Engineering, Product, Safety and Quality teams to scale new initiatives, support operational readiness and contribute to country‑wide business reviews.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics or operations leadership.
• Proven track record of scaling operations, leading large diverse teams and delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality and service.
• Systems‑oriented mindset focused on long‑term sustainability.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with high emotional intelligence and performance‑management experience.
• Data‑driven decision maker able to influence strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including government partners and cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in French and English.
