Network Engagement Director (Africa Region)

About the role

Teach For All is seeking a Network Engagement Director for the Africa region to provide strategic stewardship of its partner portfolio across multiple countries. The role reports to the Head of Region and works with CEOs, senior leaders and early‑stage entrepreneurs to enhance organisational effectiveness, leadership development and financial sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic advisor to partner CEOs and senior teams, strengthening strategy, leadership effectiveness and long‑term sustainability.
• Lead regional partner risk framework, identify strategic, financial and governance risks and coordinate mitigation across the network.
• Design and facilitate regional leadership development platforms, executive communities of practice and peer‑learning experiences.
• Partner with CEOs to develop fundraising strategies, diversify funding pipelines and monitor financial health.
• Support early‑stage entrepreneurs through organisational formation, government engagement, governance and operating model design.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience developing and executing cross‑functional organisational strategies.
• Proven experience in project management and operational systems design in multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Deep understanding of African cultural, political and historical contexts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using digital collaboration platforms.
