About the role

We are looking for a Data Entry Operator to process accounting documents and transfer the information into Excel workbooks. The position is short‑term and requires accurate, fast typing while working on site. You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure that all entered data matches the original documents and supports downstream accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Enter data from invoices, delivery notes, receipts and purchase orders into a predefined Excel file.
• Verify the completeness and correctness of the entered information.
• Organise and file scanned or physical documents for easy reference.
• Report any discrepancies or missing information to the supervising staff.
• Complete the data entry task within a five‑day deadline.
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial documents.

Required profile

• Adult candidate with basic literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Basic understanding of accounting terminology (e.g., invoices, purchase orders).
• Access to a personal laptop with Microsoft Office installed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fast and accurate keyboard typing.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.
