Packing Center Head (Shipping & Commercial)

About the role

A leading supplier of food and beverage ingredients supplies cocoa, coffee, dairy, nuts and spices to household brands and manufacturers worldwide. This Packing Center Head (Shipping & Commercial) role oversees all post-processing operations at its cashew processing facility, including quality-compliant packaging, inventory management, export shipping logistics and documentation, and commercial reporting. It bridges factory output and global distribution, ensuring processed cashews are packed to international food safety standards, containerized efficiently and shipped on time while managing costs and commercial compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Packaging and production: maintain BRC, HACCP and FSMA food safety standards during primary and secondary bulk cashew packing, optimise packing line efficiency to meet volume targets, manage vacuum packing and other control steps, and control packaging material inventory to reduce waste.
• Export logistics: coordinate stuffing and sealing of containers, oversee warehouse storage conditions (temperature and humidity) to prevent infestation or spoilage, and prepare accurate export documentation on quality and labelling.
• Commercial oversight: track and manage commercial contracts so shipping timelines match buyer agreements, interface with buyers and quality auditors for pre-shipment inspections such as SGS, and manage the commercial budget for kernel shipments.
• Audits: lead Quality & Food Safety Audits and EHS Audits with zero non-conformances.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in food processing and export of high-volume agricultural commodity packing, with understanding of customer, packaging and quality management.
• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Agri-Business Management, with prior engineering experience.
• Deep understanding of cashew quality grades and defects, and experience with food safety audits.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of bulk food packaging technology.
• HACCP, BRCGS or food safety management certification is essential.
• Understanding of production, maintenance and containerised export logistics processes.
