Payment Inventory & Dispatch Officer

About the role

Wave is looking for a professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented Payment Inventory & Dispatch Officer to manage payment supplies for field teams across Côte d'Ivoire. You will ensure that supervisors, team leads, and regional leads receive the right materials, in the right quantities, and at the right time to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of all stock and monitor levels to prevent shortages.
• Run regular inventory counts, reconcile differences, and anticipate future needs.
• Plan and organise dispatch of supplies across all regions, coordinating a team for sorting, preparing, and loading parcels.
• Label parcels correctly, assign them to the appropriate field member, and confirm receipt.
• Communicate regularly with field teams to identify gaps, resolve shortages quickly, and track deliveries until completion.
• Share dispatch schedules in advance, build proactive relationships with transporters, and flag risks or recurring issues to management.
• Report on stock levels, dispatch status, and delivery performance.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and intermediate‑level English.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar inventory or dispatch role.
• Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and transport partners.
