Payment Inventory & Dispatch Officer

About the role

Wave is building Africa’s first cashless continent and needs a reliable professional to manage payment inventory and dispatch operations in Côte d'Ivoire. As a Payment Inventory & Dispatch Officer you will ensure that all field teams receive the correct supplies on time, keeping stock accurate and supporting smooth field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date records of all payment‑related stock.
• Monitor inventory levels, anticipate needs and prevent shortages.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Plan and coordinate the dispatch of supplies across all regions of Côte d'Ivoire.
• Lead a team responsible for sorting, preparing and loading parcels.
• Label parcels correctly and assign them to the appropriate field personnel.
• Communicate with supervisors, team leads and regional leads to identify gaps and needs.
• Resolve shortages and issues quickly, confirming receipt of parcels by field members.
• Track deliveries, follow up until completion and report on stock, dispatch status and performance.
• Flag risks and recurring problems to management early.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and intermediate English.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar inventory or dispatch role.
