About the role

Wave is building the first cashless continent by offering fee‑free, instant financial services across Africa. As the People Programs Manager you will own and scale the company’s Rotation, Internship, and Assignment programs, ensuring participants have meaningful, well‑structured experiences that drive both personal growth and business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end cohort administration for the Cross‑Departmental Rotation Program across existing and new markets.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of the Undergraduate Internship Program, from department liaison and hiring through onboarding, mentorship, and off‑boarding.
• Coordinate Short‑Term Assignment (STA) and Long‑Term Assignment (LTA) deployments, handling offer alignment, benefits, logistics, and ongoing check‑ins.
• Maintain consistent scoring, fairness, and data‑driven improvements across all programs.
• Document program guidelines, identify expansion opportunities, and lead design review sessions with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Organised, structured, and detail‑oriented with a strong focus on participant experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously across different geographies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Analytical mindset to interpret feedback and program data for continuous improvement.
