Presales Consultant

About the role

The Presales Consultant works closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. Acting as a bridge between customers, partners and internal teams, the role designs solutions, prepares proposals and ensures that technical requirements are met to drive successful business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed solution designs, architecture diagrams and proposals for new systems.
• Review and document existing processes, evaluating software products against user needs.
• Define design criteria, ensuring solutions align with best practices and client requirements.
• Manage the bid process, responding to RFIs/RFPs and creating technical bid packages.
• Collaborate with sales to close deals and provide feedback on product requirements.
• Assess vendor recommendations, select appropriate suppliers and incorporate changes.
• Schedule and allocate service resources, coordinating engineering plans and project schedules.
• Stay informed on market trends, product developments and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in pre‑sales or solution design.
• Strong exposure to HPE solutions.
• Proven pre‑sales abilities, including customer presentations and solution positioning.
