Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International seeks a Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The role focuses on strengthening private‑sector participation, business development, innovation, investment and commercial opportunities across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase private‑sector engagement in the space sector.
• Facilitate business development, matchmaking and access to finance for companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify commercial opportunities and support innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market/value‑chain analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialisation and/or access to finance.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector, particularly in Africa, is highly relevant; excellent command of English and working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese are assets.
