Program Manager – French Speaking (Remote, Sub‑Saharan Africa)

About the role

OpenFn is seeking a remote, French‑speaking Program Manager to own and grow relationships with existing subscription customers. You will act as the trusted advisor, ensuring customers receive value from the platform while helping to establish a program‑management function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for a portfolio of subscription customers, driving retention, satisfaction and growth.
• Develop and maintain multi‑threaded relationships across customer organisations, from day‑to‑day users to senior decision‑makers.
• Plan and lead Quarterly Business Reviews and regular check‑ins, translating technical platform usage into business value.
• Own gross and net retention, forecast renewals, negotiate expansions and manage the end‑to‑end renewal process.
• Coordinate with solution architects, implementation consultants and support teams to resolve issues and ensure SLA compliance.
• Establish playbooks, cadences and health‑scoring approaches for a scalable program‑management function.

Required profile

• 3‑7+ years in account management, customer success or a similar commercial role within a SaaS or subscription business.
• Proven track record of retaining and expanding a customer portfolio, including renewals and upsells.
• Strong technical fluency – comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, data exchange and workflow automation.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with both technical users and senior stakeholders.
• Professional‑level fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
• Self‑starter mindset able to build processes while executing day‑to‑day responsibilities.

Required skills

• Understanding of APIs, integrations and data pipelines.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Odoo).
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
