Project Leader – Investment Advisory (Abidjan)

About the role

Open Capital Advisors is seeking a Project Leader to drive Africa‑focused advisory engagements across multiple sectors. The role involves leading concurrent client projects, delivering strategic solutions, and ensuring implementation impact for investors, businesses, and development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead several complex projects, designing and delivering impactful solutions for diverse clients.
• Implement outcomes that generate measurable impact and provide ongoing implementation support.
• Oversee project management, work planning, and accountability for key milestones.
• Manage and coach junior team members, fostering leadership development.
• Support business development and network building through innovative solution development.

Required profile

• 5–7 years proven experience at a top global management consulting firm, investment firm, or as an entrepreneur/leader in a high‑growth business.
• Ability to work effectively with clients at all levels and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder situations.
• Team management and junior staff coaching experience.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Professional fluency in both English and French.
• Work authorization in Côte d’Ivoire.
• Nice to have: MBA or advanced degree, prior Africa experience, interest in agriculture, energy, financial services or healthcare.
