Project Manager – International Energy Projects

About the role

Karadeniz Holding is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Abidjan office. You will lead commercial and operational activities for international power plant projects, ensuring they meet schedule, budget and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the start‑up and performance of power plant commercial operations according to agreed specifications.
• Resolve customer issues related to billing, plant performance, outages and contract compliance.
• Participate in project meetings with customers and local authorities, acting as the main interface.
• Prepare and maintain flow‑charts for customs, payment and other project procedures.
• Supervise the preparation of internal and external reports, budgets and forecasts.

Required profile

• Engineering degree; MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in international project management or business development in the energy sector.
• Strong commercial management experience of international investment projects.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, conflict‑management and influencing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and manage multiple complex tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
