Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Abidjan office and lead the commercial and operational delivery of power plant projects for Karadeniz Holding’s global energy portfolio. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and acting as the primary liaison with customers and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure project launch and performance of power plants meet schedule, budget and technical specifications.
• Resolve customer issues related to billing, plant performance, outages and contractual obligations.
• Participate in project meetings with customers and local authorities, preparing and presenting required documentation.
• Develop and maintain flowcharts for procedures such as customs and payments, coordinating with internal departments.
• Prepare internal and external reports, budgets and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Engineering degree; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in international project management or business development in the energy sector.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
• Strong understanding of project operations, financial processes and business mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑management abilities.

• Proficient use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
