Project Security & Fleet Manager

About the role

Alstom is seeking a full‑time Project Security & Fleet Manager for its operations in Abidjan. The role combines security risk management with the oversight of the project vehicle fleet, ensuring safety, compliance and operational efficiency across all project activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess threats and identify security risks for the project, defining and implementing appropriate security measures in collaboration with consortium partners.
• Maintain and update the Project Security Plan, ensuring alignment with Group Security policies and local regulations.
• Create and manage a local security network, coordinating with providers, authorities and police.
• Supervise security service providers and daily security operations on site.
• Oversee vehicle fleet management, including tracking, allocation, maintenance planning and cost optimisation.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations, promote eco‑driving practices and raise awareness among drivers.
• Handle incidents, accidents and insurance claims related to the fleet.

Required profile

• Degree in Security Management, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Understanding of security risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of fleet management best practices and local safety regulations.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and drive continuous improvement.
