Regenerative Agriculture Project Coordinator

About the role

The Regenerative Agriculture Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of a three‑year initiative aimed at promoting regenerative cotton farming in Côte d’Ivoire. Working closely with BCI’s Africa Region team and global programmes, the coordinator will ensure project activities are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while supporting certification and traceability efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day project activities, develop work plans and monitor progress against milestones.
• Organise and facilitate the project launch, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Identify project risks, devise mitigation strategies and report updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with programme partners, internal BCI teams (MEL, Finance, Certification, Traceability) and other stakeholders to align objectives.
• Support planning and execution of producer unit and gin certification audits.
• Provide guidance on regenerative agriculture practices and traceability requirements.
• Prepare financial, grant‑compliance and activity reports for donors and partners.

Required profile

• Motivated professional with experience in project coordination or management, preferably in agriculture or environmental programmes.
• Understanding of regenerative agriculture principles and cotton value chains.
• Familiarity with certification, traceability and reporting processes.
• Strong analytical abilities and capacity to work with diverse stakeholders.
