Regional Sales Manager

About the role

Our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager, based in Abidjan, to lead sales growth across Ivory Coast and selected West African markets, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali, Niger, Togo, and Mauritania. The role will focus on expanding the distributor and reseller network, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales of smartphones, laptops, and accessories.

Key responsibilities

• Expand the distributor and reseller network across assigned West African markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive sales across key product categories such as smartphones, laptops, and accessories.
• Coordinate closely with logistics, finance, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure smooth cross‑border operations and effective partner support.
• Maintain strong execution and commercial performance in each market.

Required profile

• 5+ years of sales experience in IT, consumer electronics, telecom, FMCG or a related industry.
• Regional experience managing multiple African markets, with proven ability to develop and manage distributors, resellers and retail partners.
• Track record of market development, channel expansion and achieving sales targets.
• Experience selling smartphones, laptops, accessories or other consumer technology products is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of cross‑border trade, distribution and commercial operations.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken, with a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
