Reservoir Engineer

About the role

Eni Côte d'Ivoire is seeking a Reservoir Engineer to support reservoir engineering and production activities in Abidjan. The role involves data analysis, reservoir surveillance, and the creation of development scenarios to optimise field performance and ensure efficient reservoir management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor production and injection performance, track reservoir pressure, and identify well performance trends.
• Perform quality control and analysis of production, well‑test, and pressure data.
• Assist in preliminary interpretation of well tests and production performance to detect issues and formation damage.
• Support well‑intervention planning to improve productivity.
• Participate in drilling and production activity follow‑up.
• Develop simplified reservoir models, including material balance (MBAL) and basic volumetric evaluations.
• Build and maintain well models using PROSPER for performance analysis and optimisation.
• Prepare development scenarios and forecasts integrating MBAL and PROSPER models.
• Plan dynamic data acquisition and prepare technical documentation for production and workover activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (preferably in Petroleum or Reservoir Engineering).
• Relevant experience in the oil & gas industry, with exposure to reservoir and petroleum engineering.

Required skills

• PROSPER software for well performance modelling.
• Material balance (MBAL) modelling.
• Well data acquisition and evaluation (geology, drilling programmes, wireline formation testing, well‑test design, PVT sampling).
• Reservoir characterisation (geometry definition, 3D geological modelling, geostatistical characterisation, petrophysics).
• Reservoir modelling and volumetric evaluation.
