Responsable HSE – Génie Civil/Travaux publics

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, hygiene, social and environmental initiatives across its civil engineering and public works projects in Côte d'Ivoire. The role involves overseeing compliance, risk management and sustainable practices on multiple construction and road‑work sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for at least two VRD (road and infrastructure) projects and two new construction or public‑building rehabilitation projects.
• Monitor compliance with local and international health, safety, environmental and social regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Coordinate training programs for site personnel on hygiene, safety and environmental best practices.
• Report HSE performance metrics to senior management and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a HSE responsible on a minimum of two VRD projects and two construction or rehabilitation projects for public use.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, social and environmental regulations applicable to civil engineering works.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
