RF Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to lead network performance optimisation across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G technologies. The role involves hands‑on analysis of drive‑test data, implementation of live‑network features and continuous improvement of key performance indicators within a one‑year renewable contract.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and optimise network KPIs for 2G‑5G to meet project SLAs.
• Perform deep‑dive analysis of drive‑test logs and performance statistics to identify and resolve degradation.
• Implement and verify advanced network features and parameters in live multi‑layer environments.
• Apply SINR‑based quality‑improvement strategies to enhance user experience.
• Use specialised optimisation tools and cloud environments for planning and reporting.
• Collaborate with multi‑country engineering teams to support managed‑services delivery and project milestones.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in wireless network planning and optimisation.
• Proven track record in 4G and 5G collaborative optimisation.
• Extensive experience with Huawei network infrastructure.
• Fluency in English and French.

Required skills

• Huawei network equipment (PHU, U2020).
• QGIS for geospatial analysis.
• Microsoft Excel for data handling.
• Drive‑test log analysis and SINR‑based quality optimisation.
• Familiarity with Huawei GCP cloud environment.
• Knowledge of P3 crowd‑testing methodology.
