About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to drive business growth for AES Group in the mining and industrial sectors of Côte d'Ivoire. Based in Abidjan, you will act as the technical bridge between customers and our portfolio of pumping, filtration, drilling and underground mining solutions, providing tailored proposals and support.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with mining and industrial customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate project leads.
- Conduct site visits, customer meetings and technical assessments.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and negotiate agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer support.
- Maintain accurate data in the company ERP system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Mining Engineering or related field.
- 2‑5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial equipment or mining‑related activities.
- Strong communication skills in French and English.
- Self‑motivated, organized and results‑oriented.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Côte d'Ivoire and occasionally across West Africa.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
