Sales Manager – Human Nutrition (West & Central Africa)

About the role

ADM, a global leader in human and animal nutrition, is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead its Human Nutrition business across West & Central Africa. You will develop strategic customer partnerships and drive growth of ingredient solutions within the Food & Beverage sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Food & Beverage customers, including key accounts, retail brands, and manufacturers.
• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the territory in line with regional objectives.
• Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and convert them into long‑term partnerships.
• Prepare annual sales plans and budgets, achieving ambitious sales targets.
• Identify customer needs and co‑create tailored ingredient solutions with product teams.
• Maintain trusted relationships through regular visits and proactive account management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution from opportunity to commercialization.
• Represent ADM at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions across the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Proven B2B sales experience in food ingredients, flavors, or texturants.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently in a dynamic international environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% across West & Central Africa.
