Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer drives sales growth, product availability and market execution within an assigned territory, working closely with distributors and trade partners to achieve targets and strengthen relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales volume and distribution objectives across the assigned territory.
• Ensure product availability, monitor stock levels and enforce FIFO principles.
• Support and advise trade partners to achieve sales targets while complying with commercial policies.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, promotions and pricing.
• Plan and execute regular market visits to strengthen customer relationships.
• Utilise SalesFlo and other tools to track performance and generate reports.
• Maintain company assets and represent the brand professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field.
• 1–2 years experience in sales, customer development or FMCG field operations.
• Good understanding of territory management and route‑to‑market execution.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Results‑oriented commercial mindset.
• Knowledge of social and cultural dynamics within the territory.
• Strong communication, relationship‑management and negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital sales and reporting tools, specifically SalesFlo.
• Ability to use other commercial reporting platforms.
