Security Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Security Manager to lead and coordinate security activities for a project in Côte d’Ivoire. The role ensures compliance with company ethics, group security guidelines, local regulations, and contractual requirements, acting as the primary security contact on site.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain the Project Security Plan in line with Group standards.
• Act as the security focal point for the project and coordinate local security resources and service providers.
• Conduct country and project security risk assessments specific to Côte d’Ivoire.
• Interface with local authorities, institutions, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor security threats, manage incidents, and implement mitigation actions.
• Prepare and update security documentation for tender and operational phases.
• Conduct security audits, inspections, and regular site visits.
• Promote security awareness and compliance culture among expatriate and local staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project or site security management, preferably in West Africa.
• Proven experience as a Project or Site Security Manager, ideally in Ivory Coast.
• Strong background in security operations, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
• Experience on EPC/EPCM or large industrial projects.
• Solid knowledge of the local security environment and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong coordination and leadership skills with excellent reporting capabilities.
• Fluent in English; French is mandatory.
• Availability to work full‑time on site in Côte d’Ivoire.
