Senior Accountant

About the role

FAMA Global is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to support its Fish Farm project in Bonoua, Côte d'Ivoire. The role is central to maintaining financial integrity, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and contributing to the company’s mission of sustainable agriculture across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial recording and ensure all expenses are accurately vouched.
• Perform regular reconciliations for bank, debtor, and inter‑company accounts.
• Oversee invoice accuracy, prepare purchase orders in line with budget availability, and manage procurement documentation.
• Ensure strict adherence to local labor and tax laws, including payroll documentation and statutory filing.
• Coordinate import documentation and maintain systematic archives of all financial records, receipts, and vouchers.
• Track inventory and asset levels to guarantee accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience in Côte d'Ivoire.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi; French is highly desirable.
