Senior Accountant

About the role

You will ensure the integrity of financial information and deliver accurate financial reports for Agility Business Parks Côte d'Ivoire. The role supports budgeting, compliance, and provides financial insights to aid decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger postings, and account reconciliations using SAGE.
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and sub‑ledgers, ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, group policies, and tax laws (corporate income tax, property tax, VAT, withholding taxes).
• Prepare monthly management reports such as Fixed Assets Register, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and Aging Reports.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely vendor payments.
• Collaborate with consultants for VAT refunds and incentive applications with CEPICI.
• Register loan agreements with banks or FINEX and maintain statutory compliance.
• Prepare financial statements according to local GAAP, support external and internal audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field (master’s or CPA/ACCA a plus).
• 5‑7 years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, real estate or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP principles.
• Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and strong communication skills in English and French.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAGE accounting software.
• Experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with local tax regulations.
