Senior Business Development Manager – Senegal

About the role

Visa is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead and grow its client portfolio in Senegal. You will act as the primary liaison between Visa and local members, driving the adoption of Visa’s payment solutions and contributing to the country’s strategic growth plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Visa members in Senegal.
• Lead the execution of Visa’s strategic initiatives outlined in the Senegal market plan.
• Manage the mid‑market client portfolio, identifying short‑ and long‑term business opportunities.
• Communicate the commercial value of Visa’s new payment tools and technologies to clients.
• Analyse market trends and competitive actions to propose relevant solutions.
• Support clients in product development, analytics and best‑practice adoption.
• Address member queries, ensure service‑level compliance, and resolve complaints efficiently.
• Prepare and deliver regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Strong commercial and technical acumen with a proven track record in business development.
• Deep understanding of UEMOA regulatory and payments environments.
• Ability to drive strategic objectives to closure and work cross‑functionally.
• Experience managing mid‑market portfolios and delivering measurable results.
