Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Manager will lead end‑to‑end HR functions across Ivory Coast, focusing on factory operations. This role ensures HR governance, workforce productivity, statutory compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, acting as a strategic partner to leadership and factory management.
• Manage HR operations for blue‑collar and contract workforce, ensuring compliance with labour laws, international standards, and internal policies.
• Oversee manpower planning, onboarding, contractor and subcontractor governance, and conduct audits.
• Implement grievance mechanisms, child‑labour prevention, and gender initiatives.
• Handle industrial relations, union negotiations, disputes, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with labour, EHS, and statutory requirements, liaising with authorities and managing audits.
• Lead recruitment, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and capability building.
• Oversee payroll, wages, benefits, and compensation reviews while supporting cost optimisation.
• Partner with EHS to promote workplace safety and drive employee engagement, welfare, and retention initiatives.
