Senior Manager, Client Success

About the role

The Senior Manager, Client Success is an individual contributor responsible for owning the holistic post‑sale relationship with Visa’s clients in West and Central Africa. You will act as a trusted advocate, driving operational solutions, new capabilities, geographic expansion and product adoption while collaborating closely with sales and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for assigned Sub‑Saharan Africa clients, identifying processing efficiencies and supporting service changes.
• Manage projects and coordinate internal resources to meet Visa and client objectives, ensuring system performance standards.
• Provide proactive operational support to optimize transaction performance, cost efficiency and authorization, clearing and settlement processes.
• Educate clients on payment technology, industry trends and Visa product offerings.
• Analyze processing issues, communicate status, advise on SLA performance and develop improvement plans.
• Partner with Account Executives to uncover additional business opportunities and promote Visa Value‑Added Services.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of client‑facing experience in the card payments technology industry.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or IT) or equivalent graduate degree.
• Strong customer focus, proven relationship‑management skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
