Senior Marketing Manager

About the role

Wave is expanding its presence in Côte d’Ivoire and seeks a Senior Marketing Manager to turn deep market understanding into actionable strategies. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will own both market intelligence and brand partnership functions, shaping how Wave connects with consumers and partners in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage local research initiatives, including consumer surveys, usage studies, competitor tracking and category analyses.
• Synthesize data from internal dashboards, market reports and qualitative research into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Monitor consumer behaviour and market dynamics, flagging trends that could influence positioning, messaging or activation plans.
• Navigate BI tools and dashboards to extract, analyse and translate performance data into strategic narratives.
• Write research briefs, evaluate methodologies and manage external research suppliers.
• Identify, negotiate and activate sponsorships and brand partnerships that enhance Wave’s relevance in key moments.

• Strong analytical rigor with the ability to turn complex data into concise insights.
• Strategic thinker who can balance long‑term market planning with rapid execution.
• Proactive, self‑starter comfortable working independently and influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
