Senior Network Engineer

About the role

Webb Fontaine is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network solutions across on‑premises data centres, cloud and hybrid environments. The role leads network upgrade and expansion projects while ensuring continuous service delivery for corporate, WAN and cloud networks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain network availability for corporate, data centre, WAN and cloud infrastructures.
• Plan, design and build network architecture for new projects, including hardware and software installation.
• Install, configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and VPN endpoints.
• Design and implement next‑generation firewalls, IDS/IPS and threat‑prevention measures.
• Develop and deploy SD‑WAN solutions to connect on‑premises networks with cloud services.
• Optimize performance, reliability and security of production and R&D networks.
• Provide technical input for architecture reviews, policies and procedures.
• Create capacity plans and recommend enhancements for network scalability.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in network engineering and infrastructure design.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and thorough knowledge of network architecture, administration and automation.
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate with cross‑functional teams without disrupting services.
• Excellent communication skills to work with engineers and stakeholders.
