Stakeholder Engagement & Grievance Mechanism Supervisor

About the role

The Engagement & Grievance Mechanism Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day stakeholder engagement and operate the Grievance Mechanism for the Assafo‑Dibibango mining project. You will ensure transparent, regular dialogue with impacted communities, traditional and administrative authorities, and vulnerable groups, while maintaining a grievance process that meets Endeavour Mining standards.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the Stakeholder Engagement Plan into weekly and monthly engagement programmes for each village and interest group.
• Maintain an exhaustive stakeholder register with vulnerability and influence mapping.
• Conduct free, prior and informed consultations (FPIC) in all impacted villages and organise multi‑stakeholder dialogue platforms.
• Document all consultations with minutes, photos, attendance lists and follow‑up actions.
• Operate the eight‑step Endeavour Grievance Mechanism, ensuring gender‑based violence and SEAH sensitivity.
• Maintain the central grievance register, provide full audit traceability and analyse grievance typology to propose preventive measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management or social performance within the mining or natural resources sector.
• Strong understanding of FPIC processes, grievance handling procedures and gender‑sensitive approaches.
• Ability to work closely with vulnerable groups, youth, women, religious leaders and artisanal mining actors.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with attention to detail and traceability.
