Storekeeper – Inventory Management

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient operation of our warehouse and storage facilities. You will manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure that materials, spare parts, and equipment are readily available to support operational and project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Store, label, handle, and organize inventory items according to company standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records in the ERP system and process stock transactions promptly.
• Monitor stock levels, issue materials against approved requests, and keep accurate issue records.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and annual audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and report slow‑moving, obsolete, damaged, or expired items.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Service, and Project teams for material requirements and replenishment.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as goods receipt notes, stock transfer records, and material issue vouchers.
• Support internal and external audits and generate periodic inventory and warehouse performance reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or storekeeping.
• Experience in engineering, electro‑mechanical, HVAC, power generation, construction or industrial sectors is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
