Supply Chain Operations Specialist

About the role

PMI is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist to support its operations in Ivory Coast. The role connects supply chain execution with business performance, using data and analytical tools to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define, support and execute logistics and supply chain strategies for Ivory Coast, focusing on efficiency, service excellence and cost optimisation.
• Manage end‑to‑end import operations from Senegal to Côte d’Ivoire, ensuring timely delivery, accurate documentation and compliance.
• Analyse operational performance, identify trends and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Prepare and present performance updates, reports and dashboards using advanced Excel and analytical tools.
• Monitor critical supply chain metrics (costs, lead times, service levels, quality) and drive corrective actions.
• Lead cross‑functional projects from planning through delivery, achieving business results.
• Optimise logistics costs across transportation and warehousing while managing third‑party providers.
• Ensure regulatory and internal compliance through customs management, audit preparation and SOP maintenance.

Required profile

• Based in Ivory Coast and eligible to work locally.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and operational excellence.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or import operations.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable insights and influence decisions.
