Talent Acquisition Consultant

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Consultant will work remotely as an independent contractor for Seaboard Overseas and Trading Group. Reporting to the International HR Director, you will lead end‑to‑end recruitment for a multinational FMCG operation across Africa, handling sourcing, screening, interview coordination and onboarding support.

Key responsibilities

• Post open positions on the company website, LinkedIn and other job boards, building a pipeline of candidates through social media, professional networks and other channels.
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers, develop recruitment strategies, review CVs, and perform phone interviews.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews, maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers, and provide feedback throughout the process.
• Partner with Seaboard headquarters on market feedback, negotiations and offer creation, and assist with new employee onboarding and relocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of recruitment or headhunting experience in a multinational FMCG company operating in Africa.
• Proven ability to attract, source and select talent for operations, manufacturing, finance and general management roles.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, home‑based setting and commit to a minimum 12‑month contract.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; experience with Workday is a plus.
