Technical Advisor – Child Rights and Business (CRB) Consultant

About the role

The Technical Advisor – Child Rights and Business (CRB) will support Save the Children’s mission to protect children in crisis-affected areas by integrating child rights considerations into business strategies and programmes. Based in Abidjan, the role combines technical expertise with advocacy to ensure that business partners adopt child‑friendly policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on child rights standards to business units and external partners.
• Develop and monitor business‑related policies that safeguard children and promote their well‑being.
• Collaborate with programme teams to embed child protection measures into project design and implementation.
• Conduct assessments, produce reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Represent Save the Children in stakeholder meetings, workshops and advocacy events.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree (e.g., International Development, Business, Law, Social Sciences).
• Experience working on child rights, protection or related humanitarian programmes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
