Technical Services Manager - Animal Nutrition

About the role

ADM is looking for a Technical Services Manager for its animal nutrition business in Ivory Coast. The role provides technical leadership across feed additives, premixes, concentrates, complete feeds and specialty nutritional solutions for the livestock industry, supporting poultry, swine, ruminants and aquaculture. It works with customers and internal stakeholders to drive technical excellence, product performance and business growth, partnering with regional commercial and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for B2B and B2F customers, conducting farm, feed mill and production audits and giving technical recommendations and troubleshooting support.
• Deliver technical training and run on-farm visits to improve animal health, welfare, nutrition and production.
• Support commercial teams in presenting products, running product trials and validating studies, and resolving technical challenges.
• Monitor industry trends and collaborate with R&D, formulation, quality, marketing and sales on new products, formulations and field trials.
• Conduct competitor assessments, contribute to technical content and training materials, and support quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science or a related field; a PhD is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in animal nutrition, technical services, livestock production or related fields.
• Demonstrated direct customer experience in a technical advisory or field service capacity.
• Experience in feed manufacturing, premix production, feed formulation or nutritional consulting is highly desirable; multi-species experience is preferred.
