Technicien(ne) de Maintenance Ligne

About the role

The Groupement d'Industries Générales (GIG) is expanding its technical team in Abidjan. We are looking for a skilled Line Maintenance Technician to ensure the continuous operation of our high‑speed PET bottling line.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PET bottling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation faults to minimise production downtime.
• Execute scheduled revisions and routine servicing according to the maintenance plan.
• Replace wear parts and adjust machinery to maintain optimal performance.
• Service key line equipment such as blow moulders, fillers, labelers, conveyors and capping systems.
• Support format changes and verify proper machine settings.
• Record all interventions in the CMMS (GMAO) for traceability.
• Hand over clear instructions to production and maintenance crews.
• Strictly follow QHSE, HACCP and GMP standards, including lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.

Required profile

• Bac+2/3 in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Automation or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably on high‑speed bottling or packaging lines.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systems.
• Familiarity with PET bottling technology and related equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously, react quickly, and collaborate with production teams.
